Amy comes to The Sylvia Center from Washington D.C. where she spent three years working for Tiny Chefs, a start-up that teaches cooking classes and camps at more than 50 locations in the metro area. Amy taught preschool through middle school classes, edited the existing curriculum, and helped develop new recipes and themes for camps and classes. Before teaching cooking to kids, Amy taught cooking to adults at the flagship Williams-Sonoma in Dallas, TX. She also has experience as an editorial test cook, testing recipes for publications such as The Washington Post and The New York Times. She lives in New Jersey where she cooks for her husband and daughter.
