It starts in the kitchen!

The Sylvia Center’s mission is to open new possibilities for more young people by increasing knowledge of and desire for healthy foods.

While the doors to our Sylvia Center community kitchens are temporarily closed, we have a duty to continue our work and to find alternative/new ways to keep learning skills for healthy eating and cooking. The Sylvia Center will be open online to provide fun and engaging lessons for students, families and teachers over the coming weeks.

Kid-Friendly Activities

Fun activities for children, parents and teachers to continue growing and learning. From easy science projects and kitchen experiments to chicken mail, we’ve got a growing list of projects to keep us all learning and growing together.
