Selina Preyer-Blakney, the Education Director, has more than 15 years of food service experience. Her background includes catering and restaurant management and baking and pastry arts. As a registered dietitian, Selina oversees that The Sylvia Center curriculum is well-researched and that programs provide the impact they are intended to. She ensures the success of programs by working closely with dedicated managers, inspirational educators, enthusiastic students and engaged partners. Selina is also an adjunct professor of food science at the Sage Colleges and in her free time, she enjoys cooking and exercise.
