Niquan Williams
Chef Educator
Niquan Williams is a Chef Educator with The Sylvia Center. After graduating from James Madison High School, he made a bold career shift from playing American football to pursuing his passion for food and cooking. He went on to train at the Institute of Culinary Education, completing the program in just 11 months. Niquan has since worked in some of New York City’s most respected kitchens, including 4 Charles Prime Rib, Buddakan, and La Pecora Bianca, where he sharpened his technical skills and deepened his understanding of flavor, hospitality, and high-volume cooking. Today, Niquan brings that experience into the classroom, partnering with The Sylvia Center to help young people build healthier relationships with food. He believes that no matter where you come from, there is always a way to eat well, feel strong, and take pride in what you cook—and he loves helping students discover that for themselves.
