Chef Educator
Andrea is a Chef Educator whose passion for healthy, culturally sensitive food grew from her academic background and global travels. With a Master’s in Gastronomy from Boston University and a chef's cap from the Natural Gourmet Institute, she blends culinary tradition and nutrition science in every lesson. In 2020, she became a certified Nutritional Therapist. Before joining The Sylvia Center, she crafted photo-worthy recipes, styled dishes, and pursued holistic nutrition work in the Hudson Valley. Currently, she channels her energy into nutritional counseling through Gut Feeling Consulting, manages the DJ Cookbook (a digital zine), and enjoys cooking at home with her two children.
