Carson Stehling
Chef Educator
Carson Stehling is a Chef Educator with a lifelong passion for food, and a dedication to inspiring the next generation of cooks. She began working for The Sylvia Center as a Garden Education Intern, bringing her Hudson Valley farming background to the Learning Garden, and later transitioned to culinary education in NYC. Raised in a family of chefs and restaurateurs, Carson has always found joy in cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients and building sustainable food systems. In her classes, she channels that joy into hands-on lessons that help young people connect to where their food comes from and gain the skills to prepare healthy, delicious meals. Even in the city, she keeps her farming roots alive—tending a vibrant vegetable garden on her balcony.
