Faiza is a Chef Assistant at The Sylvia Center. Her interest in food grew alongside her studies in healthcare and nutrition, where she developed a deeper appreciation for how food can support health and quality of life. As she continues exploring nutrition and food science, Faiza is excited to apply what she’s learning both in the kitchen and beyond. Coming from a Bangladeshi background, she loves discovering different cultures through food and learning about the history behind diverse cuisines. When she’s not teaching with The Sylvia Center, Faiza enjoys getting creative with recipes, experimenting with plating, and finding inspiration in new dishes.
