Gabriel Chirinos
Programs Resource Coordinator and Chef Educator
Gabriel is a Pastry Chef turned Chef Educator, teaching middle schoolers how baking—and cooking—can fuel both nutrition and creativity. Growing up in the culturally rich streets of Jackson Heights, he learned firsthand how food connects communities. He now brings that spirit into the garden and kitchen, weaving professional pastry techniques with lessons in sustainable agriculture. In his downtime, you’ll find him baking absurd amounts of bread and pastries, playing jazz tunes, or hanging out with Biscotti—his mischievous dachshund.
