Currently getting her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Russell Sage college, Chef Assistant Julia is originally from Rochester, NY and received her Undergraduate degree in Health Science from Siena College. For the next two years she worked at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston before deciding to come back to New York to get her MA. Julia grew up loving to garden and thinks that is what started her interest and love for food. Exploring nutrition helps her appreciate not only how food tastes, but also how it supports health, well-being, and connects us with others.
