Peggy is a food educator who is committed to ensuring that our food system works for everyone through access and education. She is also a community organizer in training who loves working directly with people to make change in the world, including most recently working on electoral campaigns. Peggy previously directed nutrition and culinary programming for Lantern Community Services, a supportive housing agency and ran the NYC Green Cart program for the New York City Department of Health. In her free time, she enjoys both rigorous hikes and gentle meanders through the great outdoors, practicing yoga, making and sharing food with friends and taking photos of all of our planet’s beautiful critters.
