Eliza joined The Sylvia Center as a Chef Educator for the summer season, bringing with her a strong background in food, advocacy, and equity. Originally from Connecticut and a recent graduate of Northeastern University, she has worked across food marketing, content creation, recipe development, and journalism. This fall, Eliza will begin her Master’s in World Food Studies at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy. She’s passionate about building more just and joyful food systems—and excited to support students as they grow their skills and confidence in the kitchen. Outside of work, Eliza enjoys cooking (of course!), traveling, going to concerts, making jewelry, and spending time with her two cats.
