Get ready to be a kid again! This August, recapture the camp days of your youth by joining The Sylvia Center’s two-day Adult Farm Camp, located on our beautiful one-acre Learning Garden and outdoor kitchen pavilion at Katchkie Farm in Kinderhook, NY.
Each morning, campers will begin in the organic garden where they will work side by side helping our garden grow. Led by our experienced garden manager and educator, Julie Cerny, our campers will taste their way through the garden’s summer bounty while learning about some of the 150 varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers that we grow. A chef educator will be our host in our beautiful outdoor pavilion kitchen guiding campers through the preparation of a farm-fresh lunch using the ingredients they’ve harvested. We’ll even fire up our wood burning oven to make a special treat.
