Expanding Opportunities: Culinary Council

By February 12, 2024March 2nd, 2024News, The Power of Cooking

The Sylvia Center is excited to officially announce the launch of our Culinary Council, a group of industry professionals keen to amplify our vision of creating healthy communities through the power of cooking. After months of planning, we have amassed a dynamic group of health and hospitality professionals, chefs, business owners, food writers, media consultants, and social media influencers – just to name a few!

The goal of the Culinary Council is to provide new pathways of opportunity for our students on their health and food journeys. Council members serve as ambassadors for The Sylvia Center and offer unique insights and opportunities to our students, sparking their interest to delve into the food universe in ways they might not have imagined or had the opportunity to experience.

We are honored to welcome such an amazing group of individuals to The Sylvia Center community! Together, we are committed to our mission of educating young people and families through culinary programming to promote health and well-being.
