The Sylvia Center’s “Art of Cooking” Virtual Fundraiser

By October 16, 2020March 16th, 2022News

Join us on Wednesday, November 11th, for a virtual gathering to raise funds necessary to support our programs. This hour-long fundraiser will be packed with updates, engaging videos, and a special guest chef who will show us how to prepare a delicious, healthy treat!

The Sylvia Center is in demand and we need your help!

With a successful pivot to virtual programming, The Sylvia Center has become a “go-to resource” for our community partners anxious to keep their students learning and engaged.

Securing funding for our signature programming will ensure we can deliver on all requests we receive, quickly expand programming reach, and alleviate some food insecurity burdens faced by our kids and their families.

Every ticket purchase helps fund fresh food boxes for use by our students during virtual cooking classes. Thanks to early donations, we have already funded over 400 food boxes for 200 students and families – This is a real impact!

Your support enables The Sylvia Center to continue its work delivering high impact programming while helping kids develop a toolkit of skills necessary to be successful in the classroom and in the kitchen.

This year, because our fundraiser will be virtual, your generous support will be 100% tax deductible.
