Soup to Build: A Tasting at Shelsky’s

Soup is not only comforting and flavorful on a chilly day, but it’s also one of the building blocks of healthy and delicious home cooking, even on a budget. Come join The Sylvia Center for a delicious evening of tasting intensely flavored and traditionally delicious soups made by some of Brooklyn’s finest chefs and purveyors, hosted by Shelsky’s Of Brooklyn. We’ll also hear directly from the chefs about the soups they made, and why soup making is the gateway skill to becoming a good cook and a healthy eater.

All ticket proceeds will benefit The Sylvia Center’s programs in New York City, which teach young people and their families how to cook and eat healthy food on a budget.
