Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Sylvia Center’s annual Art of Cooking Gala! It meant so much to gather with more than 220 friends, partners, and supporters who share our belief in the power of food to nourish young people and their communities.
The evening was filled with energy, generosity, and celebration—and we raised over $660,000 which will allow us to deepen and expand our student programming. We were thrilled to honor the Rhea family and beloved board member Michael Pollack for their longstanding dedication to The Sylvia Center’s mission.
We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the evening possible—including Great Performances for the incredible meal, FOODMatch + Divina—longtime partners who generously donated ingredients for the student canapé stations—and Janssen for keeping the celebration going at our first-ever after-party!
